Who Are the Women of WeDGE?

The Women of WeDGE are

a group of women of all ages and experience levels that play disc golf and compete representing WeDGE.  It is our mission to grow the sport amongst women through events and casual rounds at our local courses.  We invite you to connect with us online or join us for a round!  Above all, we want to provide a place where women of all ability levels feel comfortable to get out on the course and have a good time.  All are welcome!

Please join our Women of WeDGE group on Facebook to stay informed about our ladies monthly rounds and other events. These “monthlies” are a fun way to connect with other female players in our area. We have beginner-friendly discs you can borrow if you want to try playing a round with us (we even have beginner disc sets available for purchase!). We would love to introduce you to Westchester’s beautiful disc golf courses and help you get familiar with the nuances of the game.

Want to add a little friendly competition to spice up the game?  All ladies get a FREE womens’ warrior tag when they join WeDGE (in addition to the club tag included with the membership fee). The tags are numbered - the lower number represents higher rank. Bring your warrior tags to monthlies, casual rounds, and have fun challenging other ladies to battle for a warrior tag with a lower number.  If you’ve already paid for a WeDGE tag, simply see a board member to get your women’s warrior tag.  If you want to join WeDGE and be a part of the coolest disc golf  club in Westchester, visit joinwedge.com
