Congratulations to Kaitlyn Clay for continuing to defend the #1 tag!! Kaitlyn has held the #1 Warrior Tag since March 2021, successfully defending it time and again!! At the 2022 tag release, she even sweetened the deal with an ace on hole #14 at Leonard Park in Mt. Kisco! Keep doing amazing things, Kaitlyn!
In September 2021, Women of WeDGE hosted our very first Women’s Tournament at FDR State Park. More than forty women signed up, smashing our timid expectations and making for a memorable day full of sisterhood and adventure.
The focus of our event was for all of the women who attended to feel like winners. In addition to the tournament, we also had tons of prizes, including two luxury disc golf bags, an inflatable kayak, and more!
From the highest ranking players in FPO to our One Round Wonder Women of the Purple division, there was a category for everyone to feel like they had a place. Women came all the way from New Jersey to Massachusetts, many to play in their very first tournament!!
Artemis Unchained was a very special event, and we know that our future tournaments will raise the bar even higher!
